PSEB 12th Result 2026 — What Happened Today
The Punjab School Education Board announced the overall pass percentage, district wise performance, stream wise data and topper names in an official press conference this morning even before the result link was available on pseb.ac.in.
From 17 February to 4 April 2026, the class 12 exams were conducted at more than 2,200 centres across the state. After weeks of wait, today the results have been declared officially.
For your information, today you will see a provisional scorecard at pseb.ac.in. You will be able to get the original physical mark sheet from your school within a few days. Even though the physical mark sheet is not available yet, you will still be able to use the online scorecard for college admissions so there is nothing to be worried about.
How to Check PSEB 12th Result 2026 at pseb.ac.in
You will need to enter the roll number mentioned on the admit card in order to see the results. Follow the below steps:
Step 1: You need to open punjab.indiaresults.com on your phone or laptop.
Step 2: Then click on the Result tab in the navigation menu at the top.
Step 3: Now look for the “Senior Secondary 10+2 Examination Result 2026” link and click on it.
Step 4: Then enter your Roll Number exactly as it is mentioned on your admit card.
Step 5: You may also see an option to search by the name but roll number is better to use.
Step 6: Now click Submit button or Find Results.
Step 7: You will see your scorecard on the screen with subject wise marks, total score, grades, pass or fail status for each subject.
Step 8: Now finally, download the score card in PDF form or take a screenshot of it. You can email it to yourself and save it on Google Drive. For safer side, use all three options.

pseb.ac.in Not Opening — Here is What Actually Works
You may experience this issue anytime when the results are out. Do not panic and follow the steps mentioned below:
First of all, switch the website to punjab.indiaresults.com. It is an official Punjab School Education Board partner and it takes care of the result day traffic better than the main portal. If this website is also slow then open results.nic.in or indiaresults.com in another tab.
If you still face the issue, you can use SMS. It is the least common method but honestly it is one of the best ways to know the result:
You just need to type PB12 (space) Roll Number and then send to 5676750.
You can receive the results via SMS within a few minutes. You will not need to depend on the websites. You should save the number as an alternative to find out the results.
You also have another good option which is UMANG app. Government apps work better than the websites in these kind of situations. You can download it from Play Store even before you need it.
If nothing works for you, then wait until 2 PM because in early hours the traffic is higher however after a few hours the websites are accessible.
Download PSEB 12th Marksheet 2026 from DigiLocker
DigiLocker is a great option so you can download a government verified digital marksheet. It is legal and valid to be used for CUET applications, college admissions, scholarship forms, passport applications and everything else.
Step 1: You ca open digilocker.gov.in or the DigiLocker app on your phone.
Step 2: Then log in with your mobile number which is linked with the Adhaar card.
Step 3: Now go to Issued Documents.

If you fail in one or more subjects, that does not mean you have lost one year. PSEB allows you to attend a Compartment Examination for students who want another chance to clear the failed subjects. Re-evaluation
You have passed but you are not satisfied with the marks you have gotten then you can apply for re-evaluation on pseb.ac.in. Generally, this window opens for 15 to 20 days from the result day. Fees and deadline details will be informed on the official website. So keep a close eye.
