UP Home Guard Selection Process 2026
Stage 1 — Written Examination
100 marks, 100 MCQ questions, General Knowledge only and no negative marking. It was conducted on April 25 to 27, 2026. In this stage, the final merit list completely depends on scored marks.
Stage 2 — Physical Efficiency Test
In order to qualify for this stage, the male candidates must complete a run of 4.8 km in 28 minutes however female candidates must complete a run of 2.4 km in 16 minutes. The marks scored in PET are not added with the final merit score.
Stage 3 — Physical Standard Test
Marks for this test are also not added to the final merit score. This test includes height and chest measurements for both male candidates as well as female candidates.
